  • 3. Yacht re-branding timelapse
    - A one minute timelapse showing how an ocean going yacht was re-branded using vinyl wrap, for the ‘Clipper-Round the World’ race. Two cameras were used to show the process that took a day and a half in real time.
  • 4. Makefast Marine and Safety Products
    - A short website film to promote Makefast and their range of products and capabilities. The client provides the narrative and the whole shoot and edit were achieved in the time span of a single day.

    - Television presenter Iolo Williams gets a shooting lesson at the Centre in this 5 mins website information film. Features gyro stabilised aerial shots and two cameras on the shooting lesson.
  • 6. The Hall at Abbey Cwm Hir
    - Abbey-Cwm-Hir Hall is a neo-Elizabethan country house in the Welsh county of Powys. Paul and Victoria Humpherston bought the Hall in late 1997 and have spent the subsequent years restoring it. This short film introduces the Hall and the tours available to see around it’s unique interiors.

  • 8. On The Scene – The Fforest Fawr Geopark.
    - Presenter Ivor Coleman takes us on a trip through the Brecon Beacons Fforest Fawr Geopark. He shows how the nature of varying rock types have shaped the different landscapes. This film is being shown at the Waterfalls Centre at Pontneddfechan in the south of the Brecon Beacons National Park.

    - Intro sequence to the training film for the EEBD. Aimed to give escaping sailors the best chance to survive fire, smoke and toxic gases at sea. The device is used by the Royal Navy and many other Navies and commercial ship operators.

    - Showing how Farmers in mid Wales have diversified in order to stay in business, in the wake of foot and mouth disease and BSE in 2003. Iolo Williams presents a Countryfile style documentary and tours the farms who are trying new ways to make a living.

    - Narrated by John Humphrys, this intriguing look at Welsh hardwoods and softwoods includes, aerial footage, interviews and jib/crane shots. Featuring the work of Coed Cymru, promoting the management of broadleaf woodlands and the use of locally grown hardwood timber in Wales.

As well as the history of the estate, we've filmed its waterfalls, woodlands and circular Centre from the air. For mountain biking we've used a helmet-cam. A voiceover from Iolo Williams helps tell the story...
  • 14. The Wet Water Wizard and the Water Cycle Adventure
    - This project won an International Visual Communications Award for education in 2005 and has been cited as an amazing success by our client Severn Trent Water. We were asked to produce a 'Toy Story' style animation to help schools teach the water cycle (Key Stages 1&2 Science and Geography for 5-10 year olds)...
  • 15. Llanidloes-The First Town on The Severn DVD trailer
    - Where on earth is Llanidloes? First town on the River Severn, heart of the ancient medieval kingdom of Arwystli and slap bang in the middle of Wales. Watch this trailer to find out more about the area; the tallest dam in Britain, the beautiful Llyn Clywedog, the infamous fancy dress party and generally what makes this old market town tick.     - Ben Fogle introduces this trailer for our DVD on the Brecon Beacons, produced in association with the National Park. Iolo Williams then gives you a tour of the subjects covered by the DVD including its spectacular mountains, monuments and wildlife.
  • 17. General Practitioner prescribing exercise (role play )
    - As part of the Department of Health's programme to improve physical activity levels to help reduce illness, we recorded several examples showing how GPs could talk with patients about exercise. Three cameras were used to record the role plays and were edited later. This simulation was a way of showing the unhelpful effect of an excessively directing / lecturing style of interaction.

    - Grandstand is one of the few B&Bs awarded 5 stars by Visit Wales. Iolo Williams finds out why after staying the night and tucking into a sumptuous breakfast. He also looks at their expansion plans for luxury lodges.
